PRI Team Member Investigative Training

When someone says that they are a member of a team of trained (or highly trained) paranormal researchers and/or investigators, what exactly do they mean?  More importantly, is it even true?  There are teams out there who claim to be trained or even highly trained when the only training that they think that they have had is going on an investigation, thinking that they know what they are doing the whole time with no one telling them otherwise.

Paranormal Realm Investigators, however, requires each and every applicant to start from the ground and work their way up the ladder.  Each member of our team starts in an application and interview process.  Once a person has passed through the interview stage, he or she has become a PRI Trainee.

The beginning of PRI team member training consists of notes and quizzes (There may be quizzes given after team members have completed their training.  This is just a way for us to assess each team member's professionalism and techniques, as well as their knowledge and memory of necessary subjects and material.  We have to play a little bit by the books, right?

Each team member completes his or her training with feild training, in which he or she is to listen, observe, take notes, ask questions (and know the appropriate times to do so), and... well... learn.  In this stage, the Trainee is brought along with the investigative team for the case(s) that he or she is assigned to.  Leading that team, is the PRI Team Captain.  The Trainee may also be given tasks by the Team Captain and is always expected to carry out those tasks in the same fashion as all of the other investigators on the case.
